Coogee Bathroom Renovation Project

Initial Client Brief

Our client, Pradeep, was looking to renovate his bathroom in Coogee. As part of the brief, he wanted to increase floor space and create the feeling of a larger bathroom that included removing the bathtub and replacing it with a full size shower. He also wanted to improve the aesthetics and functionality of his Coogee bathroom.

Design and Construction

Once we sat down with Pradeep to understand his goals, our bathroom designers were able to conceptualise a space that matched his expectations perfectly. This involved creating a distinct shower with a handheld shower arm, a brand new toilet and a custom vanity out of beautiful spotted gum timber. The showerhead hanging from the ceiling and black-framed shower screen created a truly contemporary composition. To further enhance the aesthetics of the bathroom, we installed floor-to-ceiling tiles in the shower, extra-large floor tiles and Caesarstone benchtops with a huge frameless mirror to create a completely transformed, modern space. 

The Final Result

As a result of the floor-to-ceiling shower tiles, extra-large floor tiles and conversion of bathtub into a shower, we were able to design a space that not only looked stunning, but also created the impression of being more expansive due to its existing narrow dimensions. Removing the bathtub made a huge difference to the available floor space, allowing for easier movement in the bathroom. The custom fixtures like a new timber vanity and mirrors gave the bathroom an exquisite finish. In addition to the visually appealing new aesthetics, the custom bathroom renovation was brought to full functionality with brand new fittings and fixtures – making it both modern and comfortable.
