Gymea Bay Bathroom Renovation
Our Client in Gymea Bay, Sutherland Shire, wanted to transform a bedroom into an extended Kitchen and Ensuite.
This was a large job that required structural alterations to house, including changes to the layout of the internal walls, new plumbing to be installed for the shower, basins and kitchen, and new drain pipes.
Thanks to the expertise of Mohammed and the DCON Group team, the project was finished on time with the owners ecstatic about the results.
Our favourite parts of this bathroom are definitely the floor-to-ceiling extra-large cream tiles, and premium power outlets/switches.

Pradeep was looking to upgrade his bathroom in Coogee, and remove the bathtub and replace it with a full size shower.
DCON Group were able to create a custom vanity for him out of beautiful spotted gum timber and Caesarstone benchtops with a huge frameless mirror to match.
By using floor to ceiling tiles for the shower and extra-large floor tiles, we were able to make the bathroom feel more spacious due to the narrow dimensions.

Peakhurst Modern Bathroom Transformation
Initial Client Brief
Our client, George, was building a new home in Peakhurst and wanted a modern bathroom with a clean finish. His main consideration was ensuring that the toilet could not be seen from the entrance, to improve aesthetics. Ultimately, we were tasked with a crafting a contemporary, stylish bathroom design that skilfully opened up the space and concealed the toilet from the entryway vantage point.
George was clear about his needs and expectations from the start, which made it easy for the DCON Group team to conceptualise a sleek, luxury bathroom design that not only made full use of the existing space, but also ensured the toilet was not the focal point from the entrance. A mosaic-inspired wall and a plush freestanding bathtub were expertly installed to make a dramatic impression and conceal the unsightly toilet. From design and planning through to construction, we envisioned every part of the project with complete accuracy, which is why we were able to deliver it on time and on budget. The result was a streamlined and visually appealing bathroom layout that harnessed attention-grabbing masterpieces to create the perfect balance of modern style and practical function.
The Final Result
We needed to organise this bathroom layout without compromising on modern aesthetics and utility. Drawing from bathroom construction experience and intuition, we implemented a well-thought-out design that perfectly met George’s brief – delighting him and his family with an innovative new space built to withstand the test of time.
From the start, DCON Group cared about what George wanted, and paid close attention to detail across every element – from design to planning to construction. No stone was left unturned.
Auburn Small Bathroom Build
Initial Client Brief
As part of their townhouse construction in Auburn, our client wanted to create a small bathroom to incorporate both a shower and bath, as a way to appeal to tenants with children. This proved to be a challenge as employing additional fixtures could reduce floor space in an already small area.
Our goal was to make the small bathroom work double-time and be as space savvy as possible by strategically considering every position and fixture. After a detailed discussion with the owner, we carefully crafted a design with a shower-over-bath concept to deliver the best of both worlds. But we were also able to create the illusion of space through clever corner utilisation, recessed shelving, clean lines, light colours and smart features like a clear-glass shower screen, a smaller-sized bathtub and a slim vanity – all of which expanded the bathroom’s function and created the sense of a larger floor area. We executed the project with a clear purpose, making sure each task carefully met the design brief – ultimately transforming it into a visually open, elegant and uncluttered space.
The Final Result
At first, our client thought the task of incorporating a bath and shower into their small bathroom was near impossible. We’ll admit; this one took a lot of planning, but we were eventually able to design and execute a bathroom build that any owner would be proud of.
The Owners were keen to maximise the functionality of such a small bathroom for future tenants, most of who are growing families. DCON Group able to provide a design that required creativity and imagination. After a few tweaks, the team started executing their plans and required minimal intervention from the owner. DCON Group respected the owner's valuable time and made everything so simple.
Bexley Bathroom Renovation
Initial Client Brief
Geoff owns an investment property in Bexley. Unfortunately, the outdated bathroom was not only enough to make anyone grimace but also limited his rent potential. Geoff decided it was time to modernise the bathroom to create a fresh new look and increase his rental yield.
After understanding Geoff’s vision, one of the challenges in the design process was to make better use of corners that were previously under utilised. We channelled our expertise into conceptualising a modern bathroom design that met the brief in style and functionality. Once the design was approved, we started planning and construction. This included installing a brand new bath, new taps, a compact vanity, and floor-to-ceiling tiles that infused a brighter, more contemporary look to the space. The enhanced aesthetics created an instant visual uplift that will retain its appeal to tenants for years to come.
The Final Result
From the beginning, DCON Group was always focussed on what Geoff wanted. It wouldn’t have worked any other way! Geoff was thrilled with the result.
DCON Group made a huge impact from the start. By taking the time to listen to his plans and frustrations we were able to understand why he needed to update the bathroom and what he wanted to achieve from it.
After taking this back to the drawing board, we came back with a design that Geoff instantly loved. DCON Group made the whole bathroom renovation process easy with plenty of attention to details and aesthetics. Geoff was able to rent out his property quickly and for more money, making the process worthwhile working with professionals like DCON Group who understand every aspect of a bathroom renovation.
